Hørup Church
9. September 2025In 2025, we completed restoration and extension work on the organ in Store Magleby Church. The organ was built in 1986 by Jensen & Thomsen and has 26 stops. The facade from 1855 (Jens Gregersen) was reused.

An electric stop action and combination action have been added, while retaining the existing mechanical stop action. The key action has been checked and adjusted.
Control pistons are built into the panel above the III manual keyboard, as well as in the key slip. In addition, a new toe pistons board has been added, supplemented with step pedals.
The Great organ has been supplemented with a Cromorne 8' (on clamp), and the pedal Mixtur III (which had no repetition) has been divided into two stops – Oktav 4' and Rauschquint II – so that the disposition now comprises 28 stops. Furthermore, a Zimbelstern with six bronze bowl-shaped bells will be added in 2025.
