Marcussen & Søn Holding A/S has entered into an agreement to transfer its shareholding in Marcussen & Søn Orgelbyggeri A/S to Daniel Schmidt Christensen, the organ building company’s CEO since 1 January 2024.
"This is a significant event in the long history of Marcussen & Søn, which we have spent a few years preparing for. I am very pleased that we can hand over the management and ownership to Daniel, who we have known very well since he joined the company in 2015 and joined the ownership group in 2019. Daniel has the right professional and business qualifications and, last but not least, good personal qualities to lead the company. At the same time, the next generation in my family has not wanted to pursue a career in organ building, so it is a natural step that the company continues with Daniel as owner. I look forward to continuing to follow the company in my role as chairman of the board of Marcussen & Søn Orgelbyggeri A/S," says Claudia Zachariassen, CEO of Marcussen & Søn Holding A/S.
