Church of Our Lady in Assens – Choir Organ
1. June 2026
The BYU Jerusalem Center is a beautiful building on Mount Scopus overlooking the Mount of Olives, the Kidron Valley, and the Old City. The organ was built in 1988 for the university’s upper auditorium.
The organ is built into an organ case of oak, and located at the end of the hall, behind the audience seating. The instrument is arranged as follows: In the center of the main case, the Positive is located (above the console) and the Great at the top, while the divided Pedal organ is located on the sides; behind, in a separate, smaller case, is the Swell organ.
The organ has 39 stops, 3 manuals & pedal. Mechanical action and mechanical couplers. Electric registration with stop combinations. The system (supplied by Laukhuff) was updated in 2012.
