Grote of St. Bavo Kerk · Haarlem

» Restorations

The restoration and reconstruction of the famous Christian Müller organ of 1735-38 in St. Bavo Kerk in Haarlem lasted for almost two years, and the work was completed in July 1961. The restoration was a notable landmark for Marcussen & Søn and a remarkable success internationally. The St. Bavo organ has become well known not least through the “Orgelconcours” which has attracted young organists from all over the world.
